Metamorphosis: A change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means. My name is Taria, and I accept my metamorphosis…And while I understand that this metamorphosis may be so extreme that I may be unrecognizable at the end of this transformation, I am ok with the changes, because I have faith in the transformer. Faith that no matter how small others see me, how many times I have to painfully shed my own skin, and no matter how many cocoons I get wrapped up in and have to fight my way out of, I know that like the butterfly, when I come out, I will be a thing of beauty…who is not afraid to fly.
